A Pagoda Pacers event. Unique format where people are sent off in different waves according to national standards for how far their gender and age group normally finish out of first place. If done properly, it is not unususal to see 10-15 people of varying ages and genders come into the finish line at the same time, sprinting for first overall. 09/05/10  Reading, PA  1st Annual Labor Pain 12 Hr. Endurance Trail Run: A Pretzel City Sports event. Unique race using a 5 mile, wheel measured loop. Do as many loops as you choose before 8 PM. Awards go to those that go the furthest. Longest milestone completed will also be recognized thru your finisher award: Marathon, 50k, 50M or 100K. 09/12/10  Chalfont, PA  Peace Valley Holistic Center 5k Run for Autism: a beautiful run at Sailors Point in Peace Valley Park. Near Chalfont, PA; very pretty area. Measured course, 3 deep in 10 year age groups, early start so rest of day not tied up.. Online reg cloes at 11:59 PM on Wed, Sept 8th; nominal service fee applies.

(afternoon) 09/18/10 Palmerton, PA  1st Annual Bouncing Buns 7k Clothing Optional Trail Run: A Pretzel City Sports event. 2 PM start. Spend an afternoon running in anything from your snowmobile suit to your birthday suit. Legitimate race with awards; clother runers more than welcome!!  Must be 18 or older to compete, will ask for ID if necessary. Use of full Sunny Rest Resort facility with entry. Spectators & family members must pay $10 admission fee to enter resort. Part of proceeds to benefit American Cancer Society.  Online reg closes at 11:59 PM on Sept 15; nominal service fee applies. 

09/25/10  Blue Bell, PA  Society of St Vincent de Paul Friends of the Poor 5k: a festive event on the campus of Montgomery Co Community College. 09/26/10 Reading, PA  Michael H Wise II Memorial 5k Run & 1/2 Mile Fun Run: very flat and fast course. Special awards division for "Top Cop" and "Fastest Force" law enforcment teams. Kids run entries do not get shirts. Online reg closes at 11:59 on Wed, Sept 22; nominal service fee applies.

(evening) 10/23/10  Ghouls & Fools 6.5M (more or less) Nighttime Trail Run: A Pretzel City Sports event. Outrageously fun race with all the weird and unique things you expect in a PCS race; cool tech shirts, aide stations with alternative beverages, a great post-race get-together with cash bar, glow lights for all entries, etc.  Due to new restrictions from local officials, a new course is being developed for 2010. Exact distance will be known by 9/1/10. Online reg closes at midnight, Oct 20; nominal service fee applies.

10/31/10  Harleysville, PA  Indian Valley Y Monster Dash: A really neat even; flat and fast course. Awards for racing and also for costumes. 11/07/10  Oley, PA Oley Valley Country Classic 10 Mile & 5k Runs:Pagoda Pacers event. Beautiful course through the countryside. Some of nicest awards in region. Plenty of refreshments.
