Online registration race fees are paid thru PayPal. A service charge averaging $2-3 per entry is applicable over & above the race fee to pay for PayPal's processing of the transaction and the extra work involved in transitioning the data collected online to the master database used by the event. Unless online registration is required, you can avoid this service fee by mailing your application and a check for the basic race fee to the event organizers.

When you register online you will fill out a form here, and then be directed to PayPal to pay. If familiar with PayPal, click the Continue with Race Signup! button to complete your registration.
If for whatever reason you go thru the registration process and do not get to a page from PayPal (and a followup email to the address you provided) thanking you for using PayPal, YOU HAVE NOT COMPLETED THE SIGN UP PROCESS AND ARE NOT REGISTERED FOR THE EVENT. You will have to go back and complete the process again.
Signing up for PayPal prior to registering for a race makes the registration process much, much easier. It's free, it's instantaneous and you only have to sign up one time. Clicking the Register with PayPal! button will take you immediately to PayPal to set up an account. Then you can return here and complete the race registration.
