NOTE: The posting of results does not start until the next business day after the race. The only exception are races that PCS chip times; those are normally posted within minutes after the race.
PCS EVENT 03/01/26 Reading, PA – “Half Wit” Half Marathon Just prior to the race, an unscrupulous person or persons intentionally rerouted the course and made it .3M shorter than designed. They also removed about 1.25 miles of course markings in an effort to get runners lost, many of which did. In the end, all completed the course, with those that ran the correct course running 6.25M if they did 1 loop and 12.5M if they did 2. But many finishers ran as much as a mile more on the first loop until this attack was discovered and corrected for the 2nd loop. Pretzel City continues to look for course marking methods to prevent such vandalism while not impairing the beauty of our woods.
